Horseback Riding

Horseback riding or horse back riding is an important part of horse ownership, and an important part of enjoying horses, even if you don't own one.  Many horse lovers enjoy or horseback riding horse back riding, even if they don't have the time or money to own a horse.

If you purchase a horse that was not previously a part of a commercial horseback riding or horse back riding enterprise, it may be some time before you can ride it.  Many horses require a relationship with their riders.  As such, you may need to spend time offering snacks and meals, grooming, and talking with your new horse before you can do any horseback riding or horse back riding.  Be sure that both you and your horse are comfortable with each other before you attempt to trot, gallop, or jump over anything. 

Information on horseback riding and horse back riding is available everywhere you look.  You can find information in books at your local bookstore or library, on the internet, at your local feed store, or even at a nearby stable or neighbor's house, if they own horses. 

Horses are believed to have been domesticated animals for over five thousand years, and they have been ridden for much of that time.  Because of this, there is a large amount information on horseback riding or horse back riding available.  Whether you're new to horseback riding or horse back riding or an old hand, information can be immensely helpful.
