Balearics

The Balearic is an incredibly fascinating horse.  They are horses of which little is known, and are considered very rare.  Some Balearic lovers argue whether the breed should be considered a horse or a pony.  Primarily available in Spain, Balearics are very unique horses.  Little is known about the history of the Balearic, but some say the breed originated in ancient Greece.  Balearics are primarily riding horses or work horses, and are of small to medium size.  Balearics are considered natives of the Spanish island Majorca, which is one of the Balearic Islands.
