Paints are a popular American horse known for their amazing color patterns.  Paint Horses have a unique pattern of large colored spots, and have become an artistic symbol of the American West.  Several different styles of Paints exist, including Paint (overo) which have large dark patches and small white patches, Paint (tobiano), the most common, with a mix of light and dark patches, and Paint (solid), which have no patches at all and are not as popular as other Paint Horses.  Paint Horses for sale are widely available.  You can find a Paint Horse for sale through a breeder, local owner, or even on the internet.  Some Paints carry a genetic weakness which leads to the deadly Lethal White Syndrome in their offspring, so Paints for sale for breeding are often genetically tested.
